The Director, Information Technology is the overall thought leader responsible for defining the means, methods, tools and people used to build, test, deploy and maintain the application portfolio for the enterprise, ideally with prior experience in the Insurance industry. This role will report to the National Lloyds CEO with matrix alignment to the Hilltop Holdings CIO.
The person in this role is responsible for formulating and executing the strategies and tactics for building and deploying new and existing application function across the enterprise. Included in these strategies and tactics are the definition and employment of portfolio management processes; functional definition and specification, development of application systems, implementation of application development tools and techniques for productive coding, establishment of rigorous testing processes and ultimately implementation of the application code base into productive use. This role will set the direction of Infrastructure requirements and resources, partnering with Hilltop Holding shared services.
